The Utmost Care and Respect

Making the decision to move into assisted living is life-changing, not just for the residents, but also their families. This transition may be unsettling, especially if the decision is prompted by health concerns. Often, it means leaving a lifelong home for a whole new environment. Change isn’t easy.

We want our residents to know they are supported and respected, especially through this important transition. Their well-being, sense of belonging, and dignity, matter a great deal to us, and we will do whatever we can to make this time as smooth as possible and help them feel truly at home. At Homestead Manor Assisted Living, caring for residents is our first and only priority.

Communication

VisitingNo one knows your loved one like you do. And no one cares for them like you do. It is vital that we work as a team to ensure they receive the best care possible and everything they need to feel comfortable.

We make it a priority to know our residents well, spend time learning about their families, and help them remain as independent as possible. With your help, we can honor your loved one and do what is in their best interest. We want to help our residents continue doing as many of the things that they enjoy as possible in a supportive, community setting, whether it be listening to their favorite music, attending church, or sharing a meal with friends. Most of all, we want to help them remain connected with you.

A Beautiful Place to Belong

Homestead Assisted Living Property

Our desire is that Homestead Manor be a place our residents enjoy and are proud to welcome their families. During a time when they may be in the process of losing many things such as their home, their driving freedoms, or the ability to decide for themselves what is best, we want them to feel they have gained something here—not just a spacious, restful suite to live in, but a joyful community where they can belong.

Testimonials

Dear Homestead Manor Nurses & Staff,

We would like to thank all of you for taking such wonderful, kind and compassionate care of our cousin. All of you treated him as if he were a member of your family and we could not have wished for better care of him. Our cousin told us after being at Homestead Manor only two days that he wished he had moved sooner. He really loved it there and felt safe. After coming from another facility where he had had to keep his door locked he told us what a relief that he didn't have to worry about that at Homestead. The level of care there was so much better as well. We could not have asked for better people to look after our cousin for us. You are all wonderful caring people and I am sure that you are not told that enough!

Thank you and God Bless.

Sincerely,

The Masons

Dear Homestead Manor Staff,

Thank you one and all for the wonderful care you gave my mother, Mrs. K, for nine years. The final part of her life was spent in an atmosphere of dignity and respect. She enjoyed the varied social activities, especially Bingo, which kept her alert past her 100th Birthday. She liked having her meals served on a cloth covered table. She was appreciative of those responsible for maintenance. She trusted the advice of the nursing staff and the helpfulness of the aides. She was very aware of the many hands behind the scenes that make this facility so efficient and pleasant.

You are all a blessing to those who need assistance in their daily lives. I feel fortunate to have known many of you over the years and that my mother lived here. Of course, I will miss my mother but I will also miss my visits to Homestead Manor.

My Sincerest Gratitude,

Carole C.
